Gastric Balloon Removal in Dubai

If you have had a gastric balloon procedure performed abroad and are now seeking its removal in Dubai, Allure Weightloss is here to help. We understand that traveling back overseas might not be convenient, which is why we offer comprehensive gastric balloon removal service at our facilities across Dubai. Our experienced UK trained consultants  specialise in safely removing gastric balloons while ensuring your comfort and safety throughout the process.

Gastric Balloon Insertion and Removal

A gastric balloon procedure is minimally invasive, with a deflated gastric balloon inserted through the mouth into the stomach via an endoscopy. Removing it requires another endoscopic outpatient procedure, which, while quick and typically done under light sedation, if you don’t trust the clinic that put it in, or you’re now unable to return to the clinic that inserted it, that is a problem.

That’s why we offer a removal service at our gastric balloon and weight loss surgery clinic in Dubai

We have years of experience with Gastric Balloons in the UK and now Dubai, so you can trust our gastric balloon program to take care of you and help you lose weight quickly and safely. We only offer FDA Approved balloons because we believe so strongly in patient safety and they are the foremost authority on medical safety.

Preparing for Your Removal

Prior to the removal procedure, you’ll need to fast for two days. Our team will be there to support you and provide instructions in advance on how to do this. This is an essential step, if there is any food left in the stomach, it will cause the consultant or weight loss surgeon to abandon the procedure.

Recovery from Gastric Balloon Removal

As you recover from the procedure and the balloon is removed, you will be observed for 2 hours in the clinic and you won’t be able to drive for 24 hours. Once your gastric balloon is gone, you will be able to return to your normal eating habits as soon as you feel ready. Hopefully during your time with the balloon placement, you will have lost excess weight and will have made lifestyle changes that will help maintain your weight loss.
